I’ve known Maria for over nine years. We met at church. She is like second family to me! I had so much fun photographing her older sister’s portraits a few years ago. I couldn’t wait to photograph Maria’s senior portraits!
Maria goes to school at Broken Arrow. Some of her favorite activities include dancing at Extension Dance Academy and learning about the lives of the saints! Her future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University and to travel the world. Here are some of my favorite images from her session:
Maria recently travelled to Lourdes, France. She went with the North American Lourdes Volunteers – the first Lourdes Hospitality of the Americas and the only Lourdes Hospitality outside of Europe. Here is what she had to say about the experience:
“France was awesome! We were there to serve the mentally, physically, and spiritually disabled. I wanted to incorporate France in my senior portraits because it was a huge time frame in my life that shaped me as a person, more than school ever could.”
I was able to capture some of Maria’s senior portraits in Versailles, France! Si magnifique!
We were also able to capture some Parisian inspired images right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“My favorite portraits are the ones in which I’m wearing my French hat! The overall experience was really fun and easy!”
Thank YOU Maria! I know you will do great at OSU – you are so beautiful, intelligent, and talented. It was so much fun to photograph your senior portraits! I’ve loved all the adventures we’ve gone on together and will miss you in college!
