Dalton, University of Tulsa Law Student
I love photographing headshots because of the wide variety of people I get to meet. Dalton, a University of Tulsa law student, came to me asking for updated headshots for a press release! Below are the images he chose. Which do you like better, color or black and white? Arms crossed or uncrossed?
Here is what Dalton had to say about the Emily Constance Photography headshot experience:
“Emily was a pleasure to work with, and the photographs turned out great! When I needed an extremely quick turnaround on some professional headshots, Emily made it happen. I can’t say enough — a great experience all around!” -Dalton
Thank you, Dalton. I am so glad I was able to help you with the images for your press release. It was so nice to meet you!
What to Wear for Headshots
Here are some tips and tricks on what to wear for a headshot session:
- Avoid bright red tops, bold patterns, horizontal stripes and clothing with words on them.
- Do wear layers (cardigans, fitted jackets, necklaces, scarves, belts, ties, etc.)
- Light clothing tends to photograph larger, dark clothing tends to photograph smaller.
- If you are still unsure of what to wear, bring a variety of necklines, textures, and light and dark fabrics and I will help you pick which outfits will photograph best.
I think Dalton knocked it out of the park with his professional clothing choices!
